Strengthening Bodies
Promoting community wellness and safety. Fostering character and resilience through active play. Supporting access to nutrition and basic essentials.
Equipping people with the skills, confidence, and resilience to become the captains of their own lives.
Our largest program is LexiTar, a health literacy utility developed as a Digital Public Good and maintained by the Foundation. Almost everyone has been handed a page of results about their own body that they could not read. LexiTar translates the terminology in your own record into plain language, maps your readings against a standard demographic reference range, and helps you write down the questions you want to ask before the appointment rather than after it. It is free, private, and donor-supported, it gives no medical advice, and it stops where medicine starts.
Read what the program does, or go straight to whichever describes your problem: understanding what your lab results say, orwalking into your appointment prepared.
